简要总结
Nutritional status plays a pivotal role in the prognosis and recovery of critically ill patients. Several scoring systems and tools are used to determine nutritional risk. However, only a few of them are useful in critically ill patients. The modified Nutrition Risk in Critically Ill (mNUTRIC) scoring system is recommended for screening. Although it is not the gold standard but is the most widely accepted and studied standard scoring system. There is a paucity of Nutritional risk assessment tools and methods providing quantitative results specific to critically ill patients. we are conducting this study to find a quantitative and practical evaluation method by determining the correlation of ultrasonographic measurement of rectus abdominis and rectus femoris muscle thickness in critically ill patients in the ICU with mNUTRIC score.

- •Patients of more than 18 years of age admitted in B6B ICU, AIIMS Patna.
排除标准
- •Less than 18 years of age Pregnant women Patients who had undergone abdominal surgery Patients with a known muscular disorder BMI more than 35 Patients not providing consent.
