The aim of the study is to compare the efficacy of video laryngoscope and conventional laryngoscope on the hemodynamic parameters during intubation in head injury patients using propofol as induction agent.
Primary objective is to measure the changes in heart rate and mean arterial pressure during intubation in head injury patients using video laryngoscope and conventional laryngoscope with propofol as induction agent
secondary objectives are time to visualise the glottis, cormack and Lehane grading, the time taken for securing the airway ,ease of intubation using Likert scale and the number of attempts used for intubation

- •Patients with traumatic head injury and GCS less than or equal to 8 and presenting within 24 hours of injury.
排除标准
- •Multiple trauma or injuries and already intubated and revisit for same injury and bilateral fixed and dilated pupils and history of cardiovascular diseases.

时间窗: baseline at the time of presentation, before premedication, after premedication, after induction, at insertion of laryngoscope, at insertion of endotracheal tube, 1,5,10,15 mins after insertion of endotracheal tube
