Inclusion Criteria

1. Meet the diagnostic criteria for subthreshold depression;
2. Aged between 18-60 years, and the gender is not limited;
3. Hamilton-17-item Depression Scale (HAMD-17) score: 7 points <= HAMD <17 points;
4. Have not used any antidepressant drugs for at least 2 weeks before treatment, and have not received acupuncture treatment for depression in the past 3 months;
5. It is forbidden to take antibiotics, probiotics and fermented dairy products such as yogurt before entering the group and providing specimens;
6. Be able to actively cooperate with the treatment and sign the informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Patients with clinically diagnosed depression, previous mental illness or organic mental disorder;
2. Those with severe liver and kidney damage, severe arrhythmia or cardiac insufficiency;
3. Pregnant and lactating patients;
4. Depressive episodes caused by psychoactive substances or non-addictive substances;
5. The patient has a strong suicide attempt or behavior;
6. Those who cannot tolerate acupuncture treatment;
7. Those who have communication difficulties or do not cooperate with the researcher;
8. Other situations judged by the investigator to be inappropriate for inclusion in the observation.
