Inclusion Criteria

Diagnosis of shift worker syndrome with insomnia
- Age 18-65 years
- Working as a nurse/caregiver (at least 50%).
- Working in shift work. Shift work is defined as alternating working hours that include working hours outside of 7am and 6pm and at least 10% of working hours consist of night shifts.
- Informed written consent.
- Access to the internet and an internet-enabled device during treatment
- Very good knowledge of German language

Exclusion Criteria

- Suffering from any mental disorder according to DSM V
- Currently in psychotherapeutic treatment or on a waiting list for psychotherapy
- Increased risk of suicide
- A serious or unstable organic disease that could affect sleep
- Another sleep disorder according to ICSD-3
- Taking medications that affect sleep within two weeks prior to the study or during participation in the study.
- CBT-I treatment in the past
- Parallel participation in another health training programme to improve sleep, promote resilience or recovery behaviour, or to reduce stress.
