Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\)Patients admitted to the ICU requiring central venous cannulation
  • 2\)20 to 60 years age, male or female

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\)Infection at the site of IJV cannulation
  • 2\)Distorted anatomy due to defect/injury/previous surgery
  • 3\)Having arrhythmias and disorders like atrial fibrillation, premature beats, bundle branch blocks.
