Inclusion Criteria
Persistent lower back pain after atleast 3 months of appropriate medical treatment
Clinically proven facet joint arthropathy
NRS >5
Exclusion Criteria
Patient refusal
Known allergy to local anaesthetics or contrast dye
History of coagulopathy and anticoagulant intake
History of psychiatric illness
Anatomic deformity
Pain extending below the knee joint
Leg pain >back pain
Any permanent neurological deficit
Any radiologically proven cause of low back pain i.e. pottâ??s spine , metastasis.
BMI > 30 kg/m2
