- •Patients 18\-80 years old with mild to moderate ulcerative colitis based on Simple Clinical Colitis Activity Index
- •Exclusion criteria: hospital admission; significant comorbidities including liver or kidney diseases; pregnancy; lactating women; significant side effects during the intervention
