Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
It is expected that the use of the hearing aid favored the abilities of sound localization, resolution and temporal ordering. The findings will be assessed using the application of the sound localization questionnaire and simplified assessment of auditory processing.;In the sound localization ability questionnaire there was improvement from 30.59 to 43.50. The resolution and temporal ordering abilities presented significant results with the use of the sound amplification apparatus obtained through the paired Student's T test. The evaluations were performed on the day of adaptation of the hearing aids and repeated three months after the intervention. The use of the hearing aids in patients with unilateral hearing loss favored sound localization, resolution and temporal ordering abilities after three months of using the hearing aid.
