Adult critically ill surgical patients who are admitted to surgical intensive care units (SICUs) and expected to stay in the ICUs longer than 2 days.
1.Patients who are tolerating an oral diet or scheduled to return to oral intake within 24 hours.
2.Patients who are receiving palliative care, moribund and not expected to survive 6 hours
3.Patients who are brain death or suspected brain death
4.Patients who are admitted directly from any other ICUs because of they may be received other nutritional support that will interfere this research results.
5.Foreigner patients that can not communicate in Thai language to avoid mis-communications.
