- •All patients with symptomatic second and third degree hemorrhoids
- •failed medical treatment
- •age 18 to 71 years of age.
排除标准
- •Patients excluded if they had acute thrombosed piles
- •previous hemorrhoidectomy
- •anal stricture
- •fissure in ano
- •fistula in ano
- •faecal incontinence
- •medical conditions that made the patient unfit for elective surgery
- •who had not consent to the trial.
