Brief Summary

AKI is common in patients admitted to the CCU. Patients with AKI are associated with higher mortality and progression to ESKD compared to non-AKI patients. Inotropic use reduced Left ventricular ejection fraction, on a mechanical ventilator, and CKD were the risk factors associated with AKI.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

•Patient who admitted to the CCU for more than 48 hours

Exclusion Criteria

•Patients who were admitted to the CCU prior to January 1, 2019
•Patients who are currently receiving KRT
•Patients who have undergone kidney transplantation
•Patients who were admitted for conditions other than cardiac problems, such as sepsis or non\-cardiac operations
•Patients whose medical records are incomplete
