Inclusion Criteria
Being 18 yeas old or over; both genders; residing in the city of Belo Horizonte; have been admitted to João XXIII hospital after a suicide attempt and have a reference person who attends the first session
Exclusion Criteria
Participants cannot be considered legally incompetent; present a medical or psychiatric condition that prevents informed consent or participation in outpatient treatment, such as active psychosis or manic phase and present homicidal ideas

Name Time Method Reduction in suicide attempts, measured by the question whether there were new suicide attempts after two and six months of hospital discharge
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Reduction in suicidal ideation measured by the Brazilian Suicidal Ideation Frequency Inventory (FSII-Br), after two and six months of hospital discharge;Reduction in anxiety, depression and stress measured by the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21) after two and six months of hospital discharge;Improvement in quality of life assessed by the SF-36 Questionnaire after two and six months of hospital discharge;Improvement in reasons for living assessed by the Reasons for Living Scale ( BEMVIVER) after two and six months of hospital discharge
