Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To evaluate the effect of swimming and water aerobics on mental health, functional autonomy and muscular efficiency in comorbid elderly people, the effect size will be calculated using Cohen's test and the comparison between the groups using the Eta-squared test.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To compare the effect of the three aquatic exercise programs on parameters of sleep quality, sleepiness, anxiety and depression in comorbid elderly through the evaluation method of scientifically validated tests and questionnaires, an improvement in the mental health of both groups is expected post-intervention when compared pre-intervention.;To compare the effect of the three aquatic exercise programs on functional autonomy in comorbid elderly people; To compare the effect of the three aquatic exercise programs on muscle efficiency parameters in comorbid elderly people, through the TAFI method (physical fitness test for the elderly) and surface muscle electromyography, a statistically significant improvement is expected in both groups post-intervention.
