入选标准
- •1)Patients on oral intubation and recruited within 4-6 hrs of intubation
- •2)16 years and above
- •3)On VAP bundle ( Head end elevation, antibiotics, H2 receptor blocker, oral care, hand hygiene, cleaning of equipments and universal precautions)
排除标准
- •1)Patients who are with a diagnosis of pneumonia on admission
- •2)Patients who are ventilated outside ICU
- •3)Patients on , tracheotomy, dentures, few teeth (Less than6)
- •4)Patients who are immune-compromised, ANC less than 500
- •5)Patients on immunosuppressives
- •6)Patients with low platelet count less than 50,000
- •7)Patients with oral ulcers
