Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Measurements of the diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscle had a variation of at least 1.64 cm in the pre and post intervention measurements.
However, this reduction was statistically significant (p = 0.004 in the supraumbilicar region, p = 0.003 in the umbilical and infraumbilical regions); The main expected outcome is the reduction of abdominal rectus muscle diastasis after 36 sessions of pilates verified by digital caliper (Zass brand)

For the sample calculation it was considered as difference between the 4,81 cm groups (CHIARELLO et al., 2005). Standard deviation 2.36cm, a= 0,05 e B= 0,90 and two-tailed hypothesis test. For statistical analysis between the intervention and control groups after the intervention, with n = 7 minimum per group
