Medical Research Council <48
Patients who are Mechanically ventilated >48 hours
Richmond Agitation Sedation Score -1 to 1
CAM ICU negative
Ventilator FiO2 < 60%
PEEP < 11 cmH2o
Patients who participate actively and are co-operative
Patients receiving palliative care
Comorbidities of the trunk or the lower limbs interfering with upright posture and walking function (e.g., amputation or fracture of the lower limb)
Neuromuscular or neurological diseases (Guillain-Barré syndrome, myasthenia gravis, porphyria, Eaton-Lambert syndrome, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, vasculitic neuropathy, cervical myelopathy, and botulism)
Severe physical comorbidity before becoming critically ill (e.g., frailty due to neurological conditions)
Post-operative cases
Pregnancy
