Inclusion Criteria
elective supratentorial tumour resection under GA electively
Exclusion Criteria
Age less than 18yrs
Emergency surgery
Patients on beta blockers ,calcium channel blockers
Patients with autonomic dysfunction, thyroid dysfunction
Patients with peripheral vascular disease
Patients with HB less than 11g/dl
Patient requiring major blood transfusion more than 50% blood volume.
BMI more than 35
Patients with significant organ system dysfunction
Intraoperative hemodynamic instability ;defined as a fall in blood pressure by 30% of
baseline
Patients requiring inotropic and vasopressor infusion
