Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Age 40\-60yrs
  • •Presence of at least two episodes of knee pain lasting 10 or more days in last one year
  • •Magnetic resonance imaging/ Arthroscopic findings demonstrating articular cartilage
  • •degeneration/meniscal degeneration
  • •Medial compartment Knee OA KL grade 0,1,2,3
  • •BMI \<30 kg/m2
  • •Varus angle \<10 degree
  • •Fixed flexion deformity \<10 degree
  • •Medial joint line tenderness

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Age \<40years, \>60yrs
  • •Inflammatory arthritis
  • •previous history of fracture of lower limb or spine
  • •history of meniscal and ligament injury
  • •medically unfit for surgery
  • •bone tumour
  • •genu valgus neutral or 0 degree
  • •lateral compartment OA
  • •BMI \>30kg/m2
  • •Pt not willing to give consent
