Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Parents of children with DMD fulfilling the following criteria will be recruited for the study:
  • 2\.Alive at time of study OR expired in a three\-month period preceding enrolment in the study
  • 3\.Age: up to 18 years
  • 4\.Diagnosis of DMD confirmed by genetic testing.
  • 5\.Willing to consent for study
  • 6\.Symptomatic brothers of patients who have expired with diagnosis of DMD.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Parent not willing to give consent for the study.
  • 2\. Parent with a chronic disease/ physical impairment or those caring for another family
  • member with a chronic disease/ physical impairment.
  • 3\. Parent with a psychiatric illness or addictions (e.g., alcoholism, recreational drug use
  • with exception of tobacco or gutka consumption and smoking tobacco and not fulfilling
  • definition as addiction).
