Overview

Brief Summary

This study is a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) designed to assess the effectiveness of reminiscence therapy on the well-being and depression of elderly individuals residing in selected old age homes in New Delhi.

Participants will be randomly assigned to either the intervention group, which will receive reminiscence therapy, or the control group, which will receive routine care. The intervention will involve structured sessions where participants recall and share life memories, conducted over a period of 6 weeks.

Outcomes will be measured using validated tools for well-being and depression, with data collected both before and after the intervention. The study aims to determine whether reminiscence therapy can improve psychological well-being and reduce depression among the elderly population.
