1.Age between 18 â?? 45 years of either sex.
2.Patients belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologist (ASA) grade 1 and 2 patients.
1) Refusal to consent for study.
2) Patients Receiving treatment with the study drug (melatonin).
3) Patients with
1.Uncontrolled hypertension and diabetes.
2.Mental illness, Severe Cardiac illness and Renal or hepatic disease.
3.Pregnancy and lactation.
4.Anticipated difficult intubation [Modified Mallampati class 3 and 4]
5.Patients on Hypnotics, Sedatives, anxiolytics, anti-epileptics.
6.History of allergy to melatonin.
