A LONG-TERM EFFECT OF WEARING A REUSABLE MASK WHILE RUNNING EXERCISE ON BLOOD GAS LEVELS IN ADULTS.
- Registration Number
- TCTR20220816001
- Lead Sponsor
- The Graduate School of Srinakharinwirot University
- Brief Summary
Wearing a mask while running for a long time affects the body and is associated with Primary Respiratory Acidosis. But the body retains the ability to adjust to reduce the acidity in the blood (pH) without increasing the number of red blood cells. Instead, rectification was performed through the proximal ureter using bicarbonate (HCO3) as a chemical substrate. As a result, there is a decrease in water in the blood, which is associated with a state of thick blood (Relative polycythemia).
