The purpose of this study was to assess the reproducibility and consistency of new device, and agreements with a conventional device, and to clarify the usefulness. All parameters have high reproducibility and consistency. Therefore, the novel pupillometer is useful for assessing pupil response. However, because of their different constructions, the values cannot be compared directly between the devices.
