Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients admitted to the intensive care with circulatory failure due to septic or non\-septic shock.
- •Age \> 18 years.
- •Use of invasive hemodynamic monitoring to assess cardiac output and strokevolume.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Admittance with cerebral disorders.
- •Elevated intra\-abdominal pressure.
- •Ischemia of the lower extremities
- •Decreased left ventricular function
