Inclusion Criteria
Patient posted under General Anaesthesia with duration < 4 hours
American Society of Anestehsiologist (ASA) grade I or II
Between age 18-50 years of either sex
Exclusion Criteria
Patient refusal for procedure. History of recent respiratory tract infection. History of pre-operative sore throat. Smoking habit. Patient on long term steroid or analgesic treatment. Patient on chronic treatment with Magnesium.
