1) Aged 19 to 79
2) Clincally diagnosed with Hwa-byung through a Hwa-byung Diagnostic Interview Schedule (HBDIS)
3) Participants who voluntarily decided to participate and signed the consent form
1) Participants at risk of suicide (Question no.9 on the BDI has more than 2 points, or with specific suicide thinking or suicide plans)
2) Participants with a history of severe psychiatric disorders (Severe psychiatric disorders refer to psychosis such as hallucinations and delusions. It is decided by a specialist of neuropsychiatry of Korean medicine or a resident of neuropsychiatry of Korean medicine.)
3) Participants who have been treated by Korean medicine to Hwa-byung in recent 4 weeks.
4) Seriously unstable medical conditions (It is decided based on lab tests, vital signs, and etc. by investigator.)
5) Hyperthyrodism or Hypothyrodism (over 2 times the upper reference limit of TSH and Free T4 or below 0.75 times the lower reference limit of TSH and Free T4, or taking medication for hyperthyrodism or hypothyroidism
6) Participants who are thought to be not appropriate to participate in this trial by the investigator.
