VacPertagen is a vaccine used as a booster to protect against pertussis (whooping cough) in adolescents aged 12 years and older and adults who were previously vaccinated against the disease. It is also used in pregnant women to protect their infants against pertussis in the first months after birth. VacPertagen contains two proteins from the pertussis bacteria as active substances.
Therapeutic Indication
### Therapeutic indication VacPertagen is indicated for: \- booster immunisation against pertussis of individuals 12 years of age and older, \- passive protection against pertussis in early infancy following maternal immunisation during pregnancy.
