Enhanced Performance and Extended Wear
The Dexcom G7 15 Day (搜索) system maintains best-in-class accuracy with an overall mean absolute relative difference (MARD) of 8.0%, building on the clinical performance of previous Dexcom CGM systems that are proven to lower A1C (搜索), reduce hyper- and hypoglycemia (搜索), and increase time in range. According to company data, 73.9% of sensors lasted the full 15 days in clinical studies, though approximately 26% of sensors may not reach the complete 15-day duration when used per package labeling.

Medicare Coverage and Accessibility
The G7 15 Day system has met category requirements for therapeutic CGM systems established by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (搜索), ensuring coverage for Medicare beneficiaries. The system will initially launch through DME providers, with full retail availability planned for the following weeks. For pediatric patients aged 2 to 18, the standard Dexcom G7 (搜索) remains available as the most accurate continuous glucose monitoring system in that age group.

The waterproof CGM system offers direct connectivity to Apple Watch, allowing users to monitor glucose levels without carrying their iPhone. The system includes automated activity logging, simplified meal logging, and new medication logging features to help users understand how various factors impact glucose levels in real time. Additional features include a 12-hour grace period for sensor replacement, customizable alert settings, and the ability to share glucose data with caregivers through the Dexcom Follow app.
At launch, the G7 15 Day will integrate with the iLet Bionic Pancreas (搜索) and Omnipod 5 (搜索) insulin delivery systems, with Tandem (搜索) integration expected shortly after launch completion.
International Expansion in Kuwait

The G7 system provides smartphone-compatible monitoring through applications for both Android and iPhone platforms, delivering immediate alerts when blood glucose levels drop or are predicted to decline.
