The investment follows LevOmega (search)'s successful capital raise, which will fund critical development phases including research, technical validation, pilot production and commercialisation of pharmaceutical-grade omega-3 products. LevOmega was co-founded by LTR Pharma (search), Levur (search) Pty Ltd, and Green Blue Health (search) Pty Ltd, leveraging cross-sector expertise in biotech, nutraceuticals, and pharmaceutical commercialisation.
LTR Pharma (search) Executive Chairman Lee Rodne emphasized the strategic significance of the expanded partnership. "We are delighted to deepen our commitment to LevOmega (search). This investment not only increases our equity stake to around 43 per cent but also provides LevOmega with the resources to accelerate development of pharmaceutical-grade omega-3 products at a time when traditional fish oil supply chains are under increasing pressure," Rodne said.
