简要总结
Single-center, within-subject repeated-measures study The aim of the present study was to investigate the acute effects of kinesiotaping applied using the fascia correction technique with different tension levels on fascial layers and associated musculature in healthy individuals.
Outcome measurements. The primary outcome was the ultrasonographically measured thickness of the fascial layers, while secondary outcomes included the thickness of the superficial and deep flexor muscle layers and the subcutaneous tissue.
详细描述
The fascial system plays an important role in force transmission, movement coordination, and interaction between musculoskeletal structures. Kinesiotaping is a commonly used therapeutic approach in rehabilitation, and the fascia correction technique has been proposed to influence fascial mobility and mechanical properties. However, the acute effects of different kinesiotape tension levels applied with the fascia correction technique on fascial and underlying musculoskeletal structures remain unclear. This single-center, within-subject repeated-measures study aims to investigate the immediate effects of kinesiotaping applied using the fascia correction technique with different tension levels on fascial layers and associated soft tissues in healthy individuals.
Healthy volunteers aged 18 years or older will be included. Participants will undergo kinesiotape application with different tension levels according to the study protocol. Ultrasonographic assessments will be performed to evaluate changes in fascial layer thickness as the primary outcome. Secondary outcomes will include ultrasonographic measurements of superficial and deep flexor muscle thickness and subcutaneous tissue thickness.
The study is designed to provide objective ultrasonographic measurements of acute tissue responses following kinesiotaping application and to improve understanding of the potential mechanical effects of the fascia correction technique on fascial and musculoskeletal structures.

入选标准
- •A total of 80 healthy volunteers aged 18 years or older were included in the study. Participants had no current or previous serious musculoskeletal injury, pain, or neurological disorder affecting the upper extremity within the past six months
排除标准
- •Individuals were excluded if they were pregnant; regularly participated in high-level athletic training or competitive sports, had a history of skin allergy to adhesive materials; or had previous kinesiotaping application within the last month.
结局指标
主要结局
The superficial antebrachial fascia thickness
时间窗: Baseline and 30 minutes after two different interventions (different tensions). A one-week washout period was implemented between applications
ultrasonographic measurements were obtained from the dominant forearm at the mid-forearm level. the hyperechoic linear structure separating the subcutaneous tissue from the superficial flexor muscles was defined as superficial antebrachial fascia thickness
The deep antebrachial fascia thickness
时间窗: Baseline and 30 minutes after two different interventions (different tensions). A one-week washout period was implemented between applications
Ultrasonographic measurements were obtained from the dominant forearm at the mid-forearm level. the hyperechoic linear structure separating the superficial and deep flxor muscles was defined as superficial antebrachial fascia thickness
