- •Patients: Consent by the legal representative, age = 18 years, diagnosis sepsis according to sepsis 3 definition (sepsis-associated organ dysfunction indicated by a change of the Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) score by 2 or more points compared to the previous day)
- •Healthy controls: consent, age = 18 years
排除标准
- •Pregnancy, inclusion in an interventional study, infectious viral diseases (HBV, HCV, HIV, COVID-19) or unknown COVID-19 status, iatrogenic immunosuppression, diagnosis of sepsis > 24h
