- To measure the endotracheal tube cuff pressure changes from the baseline values in head up and head down positions in laparoscopic surgeries

简要总结
There is an inadvertent increase in endotracheal tube cuff pressure following laparoscopic surgeries and the increase is especially more in laparoscopic surgeries involving a head up position. Hence intraoperative monitoring of endotracheal tube cuff pressures is must to prevent postoperative complications like sore throat and hoarseness especially in laparoscopic surgeries.

入选标准
- •Patients of ASA grade 1 and 2 posted for elective laparoscopic surgeries of duration less than 3 hours.
排除标准
- •Patients with history of recent respiratory tract infection, chronic smoker, airway disease, history of previous surgery involving airway, head and neck, more than one attempt of traumatic intubation, pregnant female.

To measure the endotracheal tube cuff pressure changes from the baseline values in head up and head down positions in laparoscopic surgeries
时间窗: Before carbon dioxide insufflation and desufflation and at the end of surgery
次要结局
- To measure the incidence of sore throat and hoarseness postoperatively.(24 hours post surgery)
