Influence of Age-Friendly Initiatives for Healthy Aging among the elderly population in Kochi:

This cross-sectional study aims to study the extent of utilization of Age-Friendly domains among the elderly. The study sample size is 427 participants aged 60 years and above. Inclusion criteria includes: 60 years and above elderly population who are present and who can respond at vayo-mithram clininc and sayamprabha homes, Exclusion criteria includes bed-ridden, mentally disabled elderly population present there. The sampling strategy used is purposive sampling.

  • •Elderly aged 60 years and above who are present and those who can respond will be included in the study.

排除标准

  • •Bed-ridden, Mentally disabled elderly population who are present at the Vayomithram clinic and Sayamprabha home are excluded from the study.
