入选标准
- •Male or a non-pregnant/non-nursing female between 20 and 60 years of age irrespective of socio-economic status
- •-Subjects fulfilling the criteria for alcohol withdrawal symptoms and ciwa-ar scale scoring in between 10-20.
- •-Subjects willing to give informed consent and comply with study procedures.
排除标准
- •-Subjects suffering from organic brain diseases.
- •-Current use of any other psychoactive substances except nicotine.
- •-Previous h/o withdrawal-induced delirium tremors or seizures
- •-Presence of any serious somatic disorder e.g. liver cirrhosis, ascites
- •-Presence of any previous heart disease, diabetes mellitus.
- •-Patients suffering from severe withdrawal symptoms like delirium tremens and status epileptics.
- •- Patients suffering from any psychiatric illnesses and on any psychotropic medication
