简要总结
Background and Aim: In new training programs, using active learning methods has gained great popularity. One of these methods is learning in small groups which play an important role in an increase in problem solving skills, the development of critical thinking, and the improvement of interpersonal communication skills. This study was carried out with the aim of comparing the effectiveness of workshop training and team-based learning with regard to the care of infants suffering from neonatal abstinence syndrome and its impact on changing nurses’ knowledge, attitude, and practice.

The intervention consisted of eight hours of training during two days for nurses working at neonatal intensive care units of two different educational hospitals regarding the care of infants suffering from neonatal abstinence syndrome in two groups: one trained using the team-based learning method, and the other trained with the workshop training method.
Findings: The findings of the research showed that there was a significant difference between the knowledgelevel (T=-13/18,Df=44,P
