The animated educational video combined with traditional counseling was better than traditional counseling alone in increasing pregnant women's knowledge of cell-free DNA screening. This tool may therefore be helpful in pretest counseling to facilitate patient knowledge, and decrease misunderstandings before women decide whether to accept cell-free DNA screening.
