Groin injuries are common and persistent among football players, accounting for 10–18% of all football-related injuries, with nearly 30% lasting beyond 28 days. Key contributors include reduced eccentric hip adductor strength, adductor–abductor imbalances, and poor core stability. The Copenhagen Adduction Exercise (CAE) is an effective strategy for improving eccentric strength and reducing groin injury incidence by up to 41%, but its intensity limits early-stage use. Modified CAE versions offer a more tolerable alternative while retaining benefits. Resistance-based eccentric adduction exercises provide controlled loading and progression, suitable for athletes unable to perform CAE. Core stability training complements adductor strengthening by enhancing lumbopelvic control, improving biomechanics, and reducing injury risk during sport-specific tasks.

入选标准
- •Actively participating in training (minimum 3 sessions per week)
- •No current groin injury but may have a history of mild groin discomfort in the past
- •Willingness to participate and provide informed consent.
排除标准
- •Recent (within 6 weeks) groin, hip, or lower limb injury
- •History of hip surgery or diagnosed hernia
- •Neurological or systemic conditions affecting movement
- •Inability to perform physical training due to any health limitations.
