- •1. Adult patient of either sex between 18 years to 60 years for surgery under general anesthesia belonging to American society of Anaesthesiologist(ASA) Class 1 or 2 with BMI less than 30 and scheduled for elective surgery under general anesthesia will be included in study for comparative evaluation of dexmedetomidine and butorphanol for attenuation of etomidate-induced myoclonus.
排除标准
- •1. Patients with bradycardia (heart rate less than 60 per minute , having arrythmias or AV block, on beta blockers or having pacemaker in situ
- •2. Known case of hypoadrenalism
- •3. Pregnant or lactating patients
- •4. Known hypersensitivity to etomidate
- •5. Patient refusal
