- •1. Patients with diabetes mellitus
- •2. Both males and females, aged 18-65 years
- •3. Patients who have reported elevated depressive symptoms as assessed by the Patient Health Questionnaire-Depression (PHQ-9) and the Center for Epidemiologic Studies-Depression (CES-D) questionnaire

- •2. Drinking problems
- •3. Co-morbid organic psychiatric disorder
- •4. Diagnosis of psychosis
