Background: Pecha Kucha may support concise and organized health education presentations, but its contribution when added to conventional PowerPoint presentations remains unclear.
Method: In this randomized, posttest-only controlled study, 272 first-year nursing students were assigned to PowerPoint-only or PowerPoint-plus-Pecha Kucha groups. Presentation skills, motivation, and satisfaction were assessed after the presentations.

入选标准
- •First-year nursing students enrolled in the Healthy Living and Nursing Course during the study period.
- •Voluntary participation in the study and provision of informed consent.
- •No previous structured training in the Pecha Kucha presentation technique.
- •Completion of the assigned presentation and post-intervention data collection forms.
排除标准
- •Not participating in the assigned presentation.
- •Withdrawal from the study at any stage.
- •Incomplete completion of the data collection instruments.

PowerPoint + Pecha Kucha summary
Participants received a 25-minute structured training session on the Pecha Kucha presentation technique. They then prepared and delivered a 25-minute PowerPoint presentation on an assigned health education topic, followed by a 6-minute 40-second Pecha Kucha summary consisting of 20 slides displayed for 20 seconds each.

Participants prepared and delivered a conventional 25-minute PowerPoint presentation on the assigned health education topic. They did not receive Pecha Kucha training or use the Pecha Kucha presentation format during the study.

Presentation Skills Assessed With the Presentation Skills Assessment Form (PSAF)
时间窗: Immediately post-intervention
Presentation skills were assessed using the Presentation Skills Assessment Form (PSAF), which consists of 25 items scored as 0, 2, or 4. Total scores range from 0 to 100, with higher scores indicating better presentation skills.
