简要总结
Patellar instability is relatively uncommon condition affectingknee function in young individuals, with an active lifestyle and leads to earlyarthritis if untreated.
The aim of this study is to observe the functionaloutcome of medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction with modifiedFulkerson osteotomy in 26 patients with recurrent dislocation of patellaassociated with high-grade trochlear dysplasia. Patient outcomes willbe measured with Kujala, Lysholm & International Knee DocumentationCommittee (IKDC) subjective knee evaluation form. Radiological outcome wasmeasured by MRI at 6 months after surgery.
We hypothesized that this procedure would anatomically treatpatellar instability by realigning the extensor mechanism, achievinggood patellar stability and knee function.
