简要总结

The target group consisted of a total of 20 individuals, all of whom were intervention group members without a control group. The design involved comparing a baseline measurement taken with no activity prior to the start and 8 interventions. There were no dropouts, and the gender distribution was equal with 10 males and 10 females. All 20 participants were elderly individuals aged 65 or older, with a mean age of 79 ± 8.25 years. The outcome variables were measured using electroencephalogram (EEG), capturing changes in delta, theta, alpha, and beta waves, as well as topographic maps of different brain regions. No significant adverse reactions were observed during the study. When applying Brain fit (tDCS, Light, Cotras-pro, RAGT, Core breathing exercise, Music, TLC [tDCS+Light+Cotras], REM [RAGT+Core breathing exercise+Music]), the analysis of EEG waveforms showed the following results. Delta Waves: In elderly subjects, there was a significant difference in time-frequency analysis between the baseline and the eight interventions. Delta waves were significantly lower in TLC, Cotras-pro, q-light, music, REM, tDCS, and RAGT. Particularly, TLC, music, and Cotras-pro exhibited the lowest delta waves compared to other interventions. However, core breathing exercise did not show a decrease in delta waves. Theta Waves: In elderly subjects, theta waves were highest in REM, and music and Cotras-pro showed the highest theta waves compared to other interventions. Alpha Waves: In elderly subjects, alpha wave power was significantly higher in all interventions. TLC, REM, and Cotras-pro primarily showed the highest alpha waves compared to other interventions. Beta Waves: In elderly subjects, beta waves were significantly higher in all interventions. TLC, REM, and Cotras-pro mainly showed the highest beta waves compared to other interventions.

入选标准

  • The inclusion criteria MCI was based on a) Scoring between 20 and 23 points on the Ko-rean version of the MMSE, suggesting the presence of Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). b) No significant impairment in social or occupational activities, indicating an absence of dementia c) Self-reported subjective decline in cognitive function, which was also con-firmed by a family member. d) Objective evidence of cognitive deficits compared to indi-viduals of the same age and educational level (at least 1.5 standard deviation lower) in one or more formal cognitive tests.

排除标准

  • The exclusion criteria were: a) evidence of specific abnormalities in the brain, such as focal brain lesions, as detected by head MRI or head CT., and b) a history of mental illness or substance abuse before the onset of dementia. c) Complications of other neurological dis-eases or illnesses. d) Use of antipsychotics, antidepressants, or anxiolytic drugs
