入选标准
- •ASA grade I& II patients
- •All patients posted for elective day care surgery
排除标准
- •Patients refusal to give consent
- •Patients with known or predicted difficult airway, Mallampatti grade >III, mouth opening < 2.5cms.
- •Patients with significant acute or chronic lung disease, pathology of the neck or upper respiratory ract.
- •ASA grade III and IV patients
- •Duration of surgery >1 hour
- •Patients with increased risk of aspiration[hiatus hernia,gastro- esophageal reflux disease, full stomach, obese patients[ BMI >30Kg/m2],pregnant patients.
