- •All consenting patients who presented with the first episode of MI diagnosed as per the standard protocol
- •between 25 and 65 years of age
- •All consenting inpatients admitted to the General Medicine Department
- •age between 25 and 65 years,
- •no history of MI or cardiac risk factors (e.g. diabetes) or major diseases (e.g. AIDS, cancer, COPD, and physical deformations)
排除标准
- •Patients with unproven MI
- •History of any Cardiac diseases
- •Any current or past history of psychiatric illness and those on antipsychotic medications
- •major diseases (AIDS, cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease [COPD], and physical deformations)
