入排标准
入选标准
- •1 Age > 18 years
- •2 Received first dose of antibiotics in last 24 hours .
- •3 Patients not received any antibiotics.
排除标准
- •1. Patientâ??s / guardians not giving consent
- •2. If planned for prolonged antibiotic therapy ( >3 weeks)
- •3. Expected ICU Length of stay < 24 h
- •4. Suspected viral, parasites and tuberculosis infection
- •5. Severely immune-compromised patients like HIV (CD4 count < 200
- •6. Neutropenic patients ( < 500 neutrophils/ml)
- •7. Solid organ transplant, Bone marrow transplant
- •8. Patients on steroid therapy or started on steroid therapy during the study
- •9. Patients with concomitant haematological diseases (haematological malignancies,
- •autoimmune thrombocytopenic purpura, reactive thrombocytosis, and
- •hypersplenism etc.)
- •10. Patients received platelets or whole blood transfusion in previous 24 h
- •11. Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
