简要总结

This study focuses on analysing dermatoglyphic patterns such as fingerprints and palmar prints in individuals with genetically inherited skin diseases. Since both skin and epidermal ridge patterns develop from the ectoderm during embryogenesis, genetic abnormalities affecting the skin may also influence fingerprint patterns. The research aims to compare these dermatoglyphic variations to prepare a monograph. The findings may help in early diagnosis, genetic correlation, screening, and better understanding of hereditary skin disorders through a non-invasive, cost-effective method.
