This study is a clinico biochemical study where 20 patients of both gender with stage 3 periodontitis, satisfying all the inclusion criteria will be enrolled for the study. This study evaluates plasma c reactive levels in stage 3 periodontitis patients before treatment, after scaling and root planing, and after flap surgery. Initial assessments will include a detailed case history and clinical parameters, with blood samples taken for CRP detection. Patients will receive scaling and root planing and return after 1 month for reevaluation. Those with persistent pockets will undergo flap surgery, with follow up assessments 3 months later. CRP levels will be compared at these three intervals.

入选标准
- •1.Patients of age between 35 and 65 years 2.Patients with stage III Periodontitis with Probing depth ≥6mm, vertical bone loss ≥3mm, furcation involvement Class â…¡ and â…¢, moderate ridge defects.
- •3.Patients without any history of previous periodontal therapy.
排除标准
- •Current or previous smokers and alcoholics.
- •History of periodontal therapy or antimicrobial therapy within 6 months, or history of orthodontic therapy.
- •Patients with any other systemic diseases.
- •Pregnant or lactating females.

时间窗: All clinical parameters and plasma c reactive protein will be measured at baseline,1 month after scaling and root planing and 3 months after flap surgery.
