入选标准
- •Presence of the signed consent form
- •- Patients suffering from osteoarthritis of the hip joint for which a total hip replacement has been medically indicated.
- •- Patients who are cognitively and linguistically able to read and understand the information of the study and its questions.
- •- Patients suffering from moderate to severe symptoms originating from the affected hip (min. VAS = 4)
- •- Patients with an age of more than 18 years
排除标准
- •- Failure to meet inclusion criteria
- •- Patient refusal
- •- Incapacity of the patient to give consent
- •- Insufficient knowledge of German, or insufficient understanding of the study
- •- Lack of medical indication for implantation of total hip arthroplasty
- •- History of infection of the leg to be operated on
- •- Previous surgery on the affected leg within the last 6 months
- •- Presence of rheumatoid arthritis
- •- Current tumor therapy or tumor disease
- •- Current deep vein thrombosis
