- •Full term neonate ( >= 37 weeks gestational age)
- •Less than 6 hours of age
- •Moderate to severe birth asphyxia (Apgar score at 5 min <= 6)

- •1.Newborns presenting with shock/ bleeding
- •2.Newborns with gross congenital malformations
