- •are mechanically ventilated and suspected to be in septic shock as per Sepsis-3 definition which involves lactate levels greater than or equal to 2 mmol/L and vasopressor use

- •Extracorporeal therapy,
- •FIO2 requirement > 85%
- •Changes of ventilator settings during IC measurement
- •Refusal of informed consent
